In an unpublished video interview from 2017 , published on the anniversary of the crime, Birgit Hamer recalls the night her brother Dirk was injured, between 17 and 18 August 1978 .
She recounts her battle for justice, despite Prince Savoy's acquittal in Paris in 1991. The Italian Supreme Court ruled in her favor; Savoy's crime was not forgotten. And she speaks for the first time about her father and his controversial theories.
The author of the video is Luca Mastrantonio, who dedicated his novel Piombo e latte (Bompiani) to the resolution of Cavallo's mystery and the victims of Dr. Hamer's medical theory.
